Brief – Commercial, Promo Video and Lifestyle Photography

Ice Land Waterpark commissioned us for a commercial lifestyle project involving lifestyle photography, a video advertisement and the creation of cinemagraphs to add to their visual assets for social media. The promotional video was mainly aimed at western and east-european markets.

Pre-production involved concept and style development followed by storyboarding the video and planning the still shots. Hiring models and makeup crew was also entrusted to us. The shoot happened over a period of one and a half days with a core crew of a videographer, a photographer, a drone pilot, a director and an assistant.

Two versions of the video were created. One for the western markets with the models in swimsuits and bikinis and one for the more conservative middle eastern markets with the models in rash guards. We also cut various edits for different mediums, platforms such as social media. The launch of the video resulted in an increase in footfall by about 40% in the first three months since the release.

This video was used throughout 2018 on social media targeting european and middle eastern clientele. The photographs were used on social media, website, branding collateral and print.

Cinemagraphs were used mainly on social media. Cinemagraph posts led to an 80% increase in engagement on Instagram.
